A faculty member at Pennsylvania College of Technology recently presented a paper at the annual meeting of the Association for Humanist Sociology. Richard Sahn, instructor of sociology/psychology, presented his paper, "The Greensboro Massacre: Thirty Years of Truth and Reconciliation," Nov. 12 in New Orleans.

The employee who serves as steward of Pennsylvania College of Technology's institutional history has been recertified by an independent, nonprofit organization of professional archivists. Patricia A. Scott, librarian and archivist in the college's Madigan Library, was granted recertification by the Academy of Certified Archivists.

On this Veterans Day, PCToday honors the Pennsylvania College of Technology students, faculty and staff who have served (or continue to serve) the United States. "I can say that I am very proud to have served my country and I want to wish well to all those still serving," wrote one veteran, among scores of servicemen and women who sought inclusion on this voluntary honor roll.

"I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change," one of Off-Broadway's longest-running musicals, will be presented this month in Pennsylvania College of Technology's Klump Academic Center. A comedy that celebrates modern-day relationships exploring "the joys of dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands and wives" the series of related vignettes will be staged at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 12-14.

Two Penn College employees and several alumni will perform "The Music of Faure" with the Williamsport Civic Chorus at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 142 Market St., Williamsport. Barbara Albert, program specialist for early childhood education, and Debra Buckman, assistant professor of environmental technology, sing with the chorus.

William J. Astore, associate professor of history at Pennsylvania College of Technology, recently gave the plenary address at the Annual International Conference on Academic Integrity, held Oct. 16-18 at Washington University in St. Louis.
