'The Tunnel of Oppression' An interactive event designed to introduce participants to the concepts of oppression, privilege and power will be held from 8-10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, in the lobby of the Breuder Advanced Technology and Health Sciences Center.

The third volume in Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Countdown to the Centennial series, an abundantly illustrated book that employs a variety of promotional images to chronicle the transformation from Williamsport Technical Institute into Pennsylvania's premier technical college, has been published. Like other titles in the series, “Marketing With a Mission” was written by Elaine J.

The latest addition to Penn College’s YouTube channel spotlights the 2013 Wildcat Comic Com,  a celebration of comic books, graphic novels, manga, animation and video games held Sept. 28 on main campus. The festive event connected a wide range of talented artists and creators with adoring fans, and promoted pop culture as a potential learning tool for educators and librarians.

The Penn College community dressed accordingly and supported the Wildcat women's volleyball team in its "Pink Out" match against Elmira College on Tuesday night.

An Open House on Sunday, Oct. 27, will enable prospective students and families to explore the diverse “degrees that work” that are the hallmark of a Pennsylvania College of Technology education. A wide range of activities and tours will be offered at Open House, which takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the main campus in Williamsport.

Two acts in the "Penn College Star" competition advanced to next month's second round and three others earned an automatic bid into November's third and final show on the basis of their performances at Wednesday's premiere event in the Dauphin Hall lobby.

Pennsylvania College of Technology's second Wildcat Comic Con, one day shorter and nearly twice as popular as its 2012 predecessor, brought close to 1,000 people to main campus Saturday for its trademark blend of fun and education – all centered around graphic novels, comic books, animation and gaming.

Two of the major sponsors for the second Wildcat Comic Con, to be held Sept. 28 at Pennsylvania College of Technology, markedly increased their support this year due to the uniqueness of the event and the institution's solid standing as a community leader.

The Penn College community welcomed students' loved ones to Parent & Family Weekend (Sept. 20-22), which offered a variety of opportunities for moms, dads and siblings to be reintroduced to their students after the first month of classes.
