The darkness dwelling in folk and fairy tales will be illuminated in the next exhibit at The Gallery at Penn College, located on the third floor of Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Madigan Library. “A Darkness,” showcasing the intricacies of woodcarving and printmaking by artists Lauren Kinney and Patrick Vincent, will run Oct. 11 through Nov. 10.

A Pennsylvania College of Technology welding instructor hopes to spark conversation and reflection when he takes the stage as the featured presenter for a popular campus lecture series. Ryan P. Good will be the speaker for the annual David London My Last Words Lecture Series.

The third volume in Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Countdown to the Centennial series, an abundantly illustrated book that employs a variety of promotional images to chronicle the transformation from Williamsport Technical Institute into Pennsylvania's premier technical college, has been published. The latest addition to Penn College’s YouTube channel spotlights the 2013 Wildcat Comic Com,  a celebration of comic books, graphic novels, manga, animation and video games held Sept. 28 on main campus. The festive event connected a wide range of talented artists and creators with adoring fans, and promoted pop culture as a potential learning tool for educators and librarians.

The Penn College community dressed accordingly and supported the Wildcat women's volleyball team in its "Pink Out" match against Elmira College on Tuesday night.
