Welding lab becomes Halloween haunt Arc Asylum, a "haunted" Halloween attraction, will be held from 7-10 p.m. Friday in the welding lab (Room A132 of the Avco-Lycoming Metal Trades Center). Admission is $5 per person, and at least one person in each group of six must have a valid Penn College ID. Family and friends are welcome; there is a parental advisory for children 12 and younger.
A new study projects an excellent job market nationwide for college graduates in 2015-16. If Pennsylvania College of Technology’s recent Career Fair is any indication, that study is correct. More than 190 employers offering 2,400-plus job and internship opportunities recruited students from all six of the college’s academic schools during the Fall Career Fair at the main campus.

An educator and researcher on the “sociology of the hip-hop generation” will bring his message of civic empowerment to Pennsylvania College of Technology’s main campus on Tuesday, Oct. 27. Ralph E. Godbolt, an adjunct faculty member at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, will present “Building a Legacy – Exploring Manhood, Education and Community Engagement in the Age of Hip-Hop” at 7 p.m.
