Boy Scouts from several Pennsylvania councils – and some from surrounding states – made their way to campus on Feb. 19 for Merit Badge College, during which they had their choice of 19 merit badge offerings. Expertise for the hands-on sessions – which ranged from two to six hours – was provided by Penn College faculty, who led the learning activities.

An articulation agreement with Rochester Institute of Technology will streamline the postgraduate admissions process for Pennsylvania College of Technology students seeking to complete a master’s degree in architecture there. The just-signed agreement provides qualified students in Penn College’s four-year architecture and sustainable design major with a smooth pathway to RIT’s graduate program.

During his 27 years teaching electronics at Pennsylvania College of Technology, Ken J. Kinley has experienced evolutions of curriculum, equipment and facilities. He hopes to add “student demographics” to the list. Three female students in the early stages of studying robotics and automation at Penn College offer promise for that wish to be realized.
