Planning for the May 16-19 Baja SAE Williamsport competition is continuing. Recently, Penn College and SAE officials walked the college's Heavy Construction Equipment Operations Site, scoping out a 1.1-mile track for the four-hour endurance event.

"When we started this program, we had numerous companies come and say, ‘We will hire everyone who graduates from this program. We’re just desperate for trained NDT inspectors,’” recalled Bradley M. Webb, dean of engineering technologies.

A Hanover-based general contractor has donated a new concrete mixer to Pennsylvania College of Technology, equipment that enhances the educational experience for students attending classes in the Construction Masonry Building at the northwestern edge of main campus. The donation by Conewago Enterprises Inc. is a welcome gift to students and faculty in the college’s innovative two-year concrete science technology major.

Killinger says. "As always, the HVAC industry will embrace, adapt and overcome these challenges."
