For the ninth year, Penn College has received notification of its Tree Campus Higher Education designation, and students celebrated by planting trees (Japanese snowbell and Snow Fountain weeping cherry) at the college's Schneebeli Earth Science Center in honor of Arbor Day.

A leading national provider of building technology and energy solutions is investing in students at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Climatec LLC has established a $2,000 annual scholarship that will give students the opportunity to begin or advance their education in building technologies. A Corporate Tomorrow Maker, Climatec is the largest privately owned building technologies provider in the nation.

The largest U.S.-based manufacturer of industry-leading drying, conveying and complete materials-handling systems for the plastics industry has extended its commitment to Pennsylvania College of Technology. Novatec Inc. renewed its entrustment agreement with Penn College for equipment used in the school’s renowned polymer engineering program.

’Twas the night before Baja, and Penn College's main campus in Williamsport was hopping with pre-competition excitement. Penn College’s Baja SAE team members were stoked to welcome the visitors and proud to show off their labs, including the Baja Room. Guests were impressed.

Baja SAE Williamsport is poised to “put Pennsylvania and Williamsport on the map,” according to the dean of engineering technologies at Pennsylvania College of Technology. On the eve of their Saturday commencement ceremony, 12 students completing their bachelor’s degrees in architecture & sustainable design presented their culminating works in The Gallery at Penn College. The reception included family members, faculty, classmates, alumni and industry professionals. Each graduating senior was tasked with the design and development of a significant building in a location of their choice.

Pennsylvania College of Technology conducted three commencement ceremonies on May 10-11 for about 725 students who completed academic requirements during the Spring 2024 semester. Here is a quick sprint through the ceremonies. (Sprints were many as graduates and guests dodged raindrops both days but enjoyed interludes of sunshine and overflowing pride and joy.) WNEP-TV’s Mackenzie Aucker visited campus to produce a story on Penn College hosting STEMFest, a celebration of engineering and technical careers for middle school students and educators. Auker visited several of the STEMFest sessions, including robotics, civil engineering technology and engineering design.
