Two Pennsylvania College of Technology chapters of honor societies including the charter members of an organization for business administration students held separate induction ceremonies Saturday in the college's Thompson Professional Development Center. Alpha Chi At 1 p.m., 19 new members were welcomed into the Pennsylvania Xi Chapter of Alpha Chi, a national baccalaureate honor society.

Joe Simon, a junior guard-forward on the Penn College men's basketball team, has been awarded Penn State University Athletic Conference Honorable Mention honors. Simon, a business management student from Renovo, scored 382 points during the Wildcats' 18-12 season that included a sixth-place finish in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association national tournament.
