Miller, assistant professor of history/political science at Pennsylvania College of Technology, was invited to present a paper at the 17th Century Warfare, Diplomacy & Society in the American Northeast Conference, held recently at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Center, Mashantucket, Conn.

Visiting Chef Kristi Ritchey, a 2002 Pennsylvania College of Technology culinary arts technology graduate and executive chef of Greenleaf Gourmet Chopshop’s four Los Angeles-area restaurants, worked closely with students for three days to produce Friday’s Visiting Chef Dinner. Applied human services majors in D. Robert Cooley's Service Learning in Sociology class raised public awareness – and more than $1,200 – to help Family Promise of Lycoming County Inc. aid local residents experiencing the challenges of homelessness.

Michael R. Triassi has been named director of sales and restaurant operations at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Triassi, who among his duties will oversee Le Jeune Chef Restaurant, brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry.
