Retired Air Force Col. Timothy D. Bair was at the Lumley Aviation Center on April 20 to present results of the Space Shuttle Columbia accident investigation. Bair was a member of the Columbia Accident Investigation Board as an investigator from February to August 2002.
Students at Penn College's Lumley Aviation Center in Montoursville had an opportunity Tuesday to view a helicopter: the Bell 206 helicopter, based at the Williamsport Regional Airport and operated by the Pennsylvania State Police. The pilot, Trooper Chris Royles, spoke to aviation students about the helicopter's role in state police operations and answered their questions about the aircraft.

A California-based avionics firm has donated a variety of equipment to Pennsylvania College of Technology to aid instruction in the college's Aviation Department. The equipment was donated by ASB Avionics, a company with operations in three California locations: Mojave, Santa Barbara and Van Nuys.
