Pennsylvania College of Technology student Richard L. Carpenter has been awarded the Bracalente Manufacturing Scholarship for 2005-06. Carpenter, of Ulysses, is pursuing an associate degree in toolmaking technology and has been named to the dean's list at Penn College several times.

Applied Controls Inc. presented a half-day workshop Friday in the College Avenue Labs for faculty and students in electronics and manufacturing majors, as well as for representatives of local manufacturing companies.

Four Penn College faculty members recently presented a continuing legal-education seminar on "Identity Theft" to members of the Lycoming Law Association. Rhonda L.
