Penn College is among the top academically performing Greek Life systems in the country, according to the North-American Intrafraternity Conference. The college tops the list of 19 reporting institutions at which the All-Fraternity Average GPA exceeds the campus' All-Male Average.

Courtney Gernert Junior outside hitter Courtney Gernert, of Palmyra, was named the Penn State University Athletic Conference Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week for the period ending Sept. 8.  In her team’s two games, Gernert totaled 17 kills, averaging 2.83 kills per set.  She also notched four aces and digs.  This is her first honor of the season.
