Tonya W. Chopick Tonya W. Chopick, a 2003 graduate in Penn College's business management major, returned to campus this week to share her perspective as a nontraditional student. As a commitment to the Pennsylvania College of Technology Scholarship Campaign, Larson Design Group has agreed to match gifts to the Lamont E. Butters Memorial Scholarship dollar-for-dollar up to a total of $5,000. The matching-gift offer has already generated $2,800 in new donations and pledges from Penn College alumni and Larson Design Group employees. The Lamont E.

Faculty and staff have until Oct. 21 to submit proposed presentations for “Technology and Society: The Centennial Colloquia Series,” a component of Penn College’s 100-year anniversary celebration in 2014.

Students in the Surgical Technology Program at Pennsylvania College of Technology gathered Sept. 16 to celebrate National Surgical Technologist week, observed annually the third week of September. Surgical technologists are an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing surgical care to patients.

David Munn Senior David Munn, of Athens, was named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Goalkeeper of the Week and the Penn State University Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for the period ending Sept. 15.  In the team’s 2-0 week, Munn recorded two shutouts and made six saves.  The honors are Munn’s first of the season.
