The Pennsylvania College of Technology Board of Directors on Thursday authorized the parameters for the college’s 2015-16 state budget request and approved a Strategic Plan that will guide the college through 2016-17.
Theoretical physicist and author of the award-winning novel “Einstein’s Dreams,” Alan Lightman, will speak at Pennsylvania College of Technology at 7 p.m. Oct. 28 as part of its Centennial Colloquia Series. Lightman is one of the first professors to receive a dual faculty appointment in science and humanities at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

An associate professor for applied health studies at Pennsylvania College of Technology co-authored the textbook “Introduction to Health Care Services: Foundations and Challenges,” which was published recently by Jossey-Bass. Tina M. Evans, department head for applied health studies, collaborated with Bernard J. Healey, a professor at King’s College.
