Each year, the Office of Children and Youth from Lycoming and Clinton counties compiles a list of children from underprivileged families that would appreciate gifts. This year,Student Activitieshad the names of 200 children, and the response from the Penn College community was overwhelming!
In an effort to lessen their impact on the environment and natural resources, the Penn College's Student Government Association has begun the process of going "paperless." Inspired by the desires of students, SGA's Executive Board decided it would use technologies, such as the organization's Web site and the recently implemented SharePoint program known as the myPCT portal to make this environment

Penn College students created and auctioned chocolate houses along with cakes, candies, cookies and more to raise funds for Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity during its annual House for a Home event Friday. The event is one part of the School of Hospitality's Food Show, during which final projects from several advanced classes are judged and displayed for the public.
Pennsylvania College of Technology's Board of Directors has approved the awarding of construction contracts totaling $45,266,519 for the Stage X Building Program, which includes new on-campus housing for approximately 250 students and renovations at several main-campus facilities.
Due to financial constraints, River Valley Transit has announced that the free College Town student shuttle will not resume in January. The late-night service, which made a variety of stops throughout the campus community from 8 p.m.-2:10 a.m., ended Dec. 5.
The Pennsylvania College of Technology Board of Directors on Thursday awarded construction contracts for work on the Stage X Building Program, which includes new student housing on the west end of the main campus and renovations at several other college facilities. The board also bid farewell to a longtime member: state Sen. Roger A. Madigan, who is retiring this year from the Senate.
