“This software allows students to plan and execute emergency exercises using an online incident management software,” said William A. Schlosser, instructor of emergency management & homeland security. “Students use it to organize resources, track tasks and communicate essential information between incident management personnel.”
D4H software integrates existing workflows and helps create an emergency management platform that merges all information, updates and communications, including incident management and reporting, alerting, personnel and training, and equipment management.
D4H’s crisis management capabilities now sit within EcoOnline’s safety and sustainability suite, alongside EHS software, lone worker protection, chemical management, and ESG and sustainability reporting.
“We’re proud to support the next generation of emergency management leaders at Penn College, especially as organizations and public authorities face a risk landscape that is becoming more complex, connected and fast-moving,” said Robin Blandford, senior vice president of product at EcoOnline and founder of D4H. “EcoOnline’s latest workplace safety research found that only 37% of workers in North America fully believe their company has a crisis plan and understand it, showing how important it is to make preparedness practical, visible and understood before an incident happens.”
In addition to being a Corporate Tomorrow Maker, EcoOnline is a member of the Ambassadors Society ($25,000-$49,999) on the college’s Donor Wall.
“We are grateful for the generous donation and continued support of our emergency
management & homeland security program from EcoOnline through its D4H software,” said Shanin L. Dougherty, senior corporate relations officer. “It is the real-world, hands-on experience that their donation allows that sets our students apart when they enter the workforce.”
