The Center for Career Design hosted its second annual Career Gear Clothes Closet “fill-a-bag” event on April 28 to send students into the summer break with the power to dress for success.

The Career Gear Clothes Closet is stocked with the professional clothing students might need for the Career Fair, job interviews, jobs and internships, or classroom presentations. Students are welcome to “shop” (all items are free) throughout the year. The clothing is then theirs to keep.

The Fill-a-Bag event was organized, planned and executed by Career Services intern Jade A. Adams. Adams, of Bernville, is set to graduate this month with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

This spring’s Fill-a-Bag provided about 735 clothing items to 110 student visitors.

“This event couldn’t be possible without generous donors to the Career Gear Clothes Closet,” said Lizze R. Winters, associate director of the Center for Career Design.
