As Easter nears, Penn College’s Student Veterans Organization and SALUTE Veterans Honor Society chapter invited members of the Penn College family to bring their families to campus for a pre-holiday tradition.

To prepare for the 10th Wildcat Egg Hunt, the students stuffed and “hid” 4,300 plastic eggs for finding by the 150 children who attended (and brought with them 100 adults).

Photographer/photo editor Alexandra Butler captured the cuteness:

Children scope out the Victorian House lawn, where one of three hunts (separated by age group) were held.

A small child wearing a pink dress and coat and bunny ears bends down to pick up a blue plastic egg.

A toddler stands on a brick path holding a plastic bucket. There are plastic eggs on the ground surrounding him.

Two toddlers, each holding a plastic egg, talk to each other.
