March is National Nutrition Month, and the college’s registered dietitian, Heather S. Brennan, is coordinating a variety of activities to support students as they fuel their busy lives.

National Nutrition Month highlights the important role that healthy eating plays in overall well-being, Brennan explained. The campaign encourages individuals to make informed food choices and develop balanced eating habits that support long-term health, energy, and disease prevention.
“For Penn College students, nutrition is especially important in the midst of busy schedules, demanding coursework and active campus life,” Brennan said. “Making nutritious food choices can help support focus in the classroom, maintain energy throughout the day, and promote overall physical and mental wellness. National Nutrition Month serves as a reminder that building healthy habits today can help the Penn College community thrive both on campus and beyond.”
