PlayVS College League provides students the opportunity to represent their school and compete in regular, structured competition in many popular esports titles.
The league recently announced the establishment of the PCL Advisory Committee to serve as a voice for all participants and as a step toward greater transparency, fairness and collaborative decision making. Young is among nine inaugural committee members, who were appointed from colleges and universities across the league.
The committee will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and quality of the PCL experience. Members will review and clarify rules; oversee conference, divisional and playoff seedings; and assist with decision-making related to formal league appeals.
In addition to coaching Penn College’s esports team, Young is a learning systems administrator in the college’s Educational and Emerging Technologies Office.
