“Community forums like this are invaluable to the community as they provide a means to engage directly with candidates for local office,” Miller said. “In particular, this forum focused on issues that impact a specific segment of the community, individuals with disabilities, whose voices are often marginalized in political debate. I was honored to be a part of it.”
A faculty member at Penn College since 2011, Miller teaches world history, constitutional history, Native American history and international relations courses. He serves as chief reader for the World History: Modern Advanced Placement exam.
Miller holds a doctoral degree in American Indian history, history of the Atlantic world, constitutional and legal history from the University of Buffalo, where he also earned a master’s in colonial history. He earned his bachelor’s degree in history from SUNY Geneseo.
