Andrew sets massive goals and works hard to achieve them. He's back for his second Penn College degree, uniting his passions for automotive and information technology. He's grateful for all who invest in tomorrow's workforce, with special thanks for the Charlotte W. Newcombe Foundation's scholarship support for mature students.
Ideally, my dream job is one that ties my new field of information technology to my automotive background, working for either a major parts supplier or an automotive manufacturer.
So far, Fundamentals of Information Security. The class covers a lot of interesting topics and is challenging without having a heavy workload.

What can you say to someone who has made such an impact on the life of a student? In my mind the best thing I can do is offer a firm handshake and a genuine thank you, a small gift, and a handwritten card.
"I returned to Penn College seeking a career change from automotive to IT. Penn College has been instrumental in making me the man I am today. I didn't realize how much more of a struggle returning to school would be now that I am older with more responsibilities to handle. Newcombe Foundation scholarship funding has allowed me to work a little less and focus on my coursework. I am thankful."
A $50,000 gift from the Charlotte W. Newcombe Foundation will provide scholarships to Pennsylvania College of Technology students age 25 and older who have completed at least half of the requirements and credits toward their bachelor’s degrees.
