    Van Johnson, 1973

    Van retired from the West Branch School District as a counselor and teacher. He remains involved in education as a member of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees and a school volunteer and substitute. He's also a regular volunteer at Penn College events and is the 2016 recipient of the Alumni Volunteer of the Year Award. He holds a Master of Education in elementary guidance/counseling, a Master of Education in elementary education, a certification in special education, and a Bachelor of Science in education. He resides in Curwensville.
