Ready to get started? You’ve come to the right place. Below, we’ll walk you through the applications to submit and the deadlines to keep in mind. At first glance, it might seem like a long checklist. But we are here to help you work through it.

Applications to Complete

Specific to Penn College, our team uses this form to process and award financial aid. You’ll need to update and submit this form every year.

How to complete:

  • New Students: You can complete your FAA via your applicant dashboard as soon as you are accepted to the College.
  • Returning Students: Assuming you’ve completed the FAA before, you’ll simply review and update each year, as early as late November, via the Student Information System (SIS).

The FAFSA is the initial application used by college students across the country for grants, educational loans, work-study, and other forms of aid.

Are you a PA resident?

We encourage you to complete the Pennsylvania State Grant Form online as soon as you submit your FAFSA. Doing so by our priority FAFSA submission deadline of March 1 ensures that you will meet Pennsylvania State Grant deadlines.

To receive any Federal Direct Student Loans, you must complete the Master Promissory Note and Entrance Counseling. Complete in May or June after you’ve committed to Penn College for fall entry, or October for spring.

The Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan or a non-federal private alternative loan may be used for any remaining balance not covered by other aid. These loans require separate applications. Apply for these loans until after you have received your tuition bill and have confirmed the amount to borrow.
