Join us for an action-packed day of skills competition. Diesel students from CTCs and CTEs are invited to compete for scholarships, prizes, and training aids for their programs.
At the end of the event the top three participants will receive Penn College scholarships. Each competition station will also have prizes for first-, second- and third-place winners. Additionally, the winning CTC/CTE will receive a cash prize to purchase training aids for their program.
Student competitors will receive a free hotel stay on Friday evening and a food allowance thanks to the National Science Foundation Advanced Technological Education Grant: 'Diesel Technology Pathway from Career and Technical Education to Postsecondary Certification or Associate Degree.'
When I won first, that was a big moment for me. Made my family, instructors, and friends very proud. After earning those scholarships, it was settled that I would go here. It covered my first semester and bled into the second semester, which was big for my father.

As a valued Penn College industry partner, we are seeking your help to shape the diesel technology workforce pipeline by participating in the fifth annual Penn College Diesel Technology Competition. This event exposes high school and career & technology education (CTE) diesel students to college and career opportunities, while encouraging them to continue education in Diesel and Heavy Construction Equipment Technology-related fields. Sponsorship funds will support scholarships offered to competitors that enroll in a Penn College Diesel, Electric Power Generation or Heavy Equipment program.
