Penn College waited five innings to rally, but already was down 11-0 by then in its Thursday night extramural softball game against Lycoming College. Pennsylvania College of Technology archers are enjoying one of their best seasons ever, and, this, weekend they'll have an opportunity to strut their stuff before a home crowd. The Wildcats host the Eastern Regional Intercollegiate Championships on main campus Saturday and Sunday (next to the Field House along College Avenue). A campus volleyball rivalry resumed in Bardo Gym on Wednesday night, asthe student team of Gavin Mock, Adam Dumm, Joel Reese, Amanda Sherry, Ty Holland and Alexandra Davis took on the staff/faculty squad of Daniel Warner, Mark Dougherty, Jim Cunningham, Elliott Strickland Jr, Amber Dreese, Kimberly Bolig and Daniel Bennett.

A team of Penn College students the winners in a recent five-on-five intramural competition traveled to Lewisburg on Monday for a Final Four Basketball Tournament with Susquehanna, Bloomsburg and (host) Bucknell universities. Penn College was represented by Ben Vincent, Ty Holland, Donnie Stevenson, Jordan Kilbourn, Brandon Sauers, Jon Boob and Ray Kanapesky.

Sunday's Powder Puff Football game proved to be one of the highest-scoring in the short history of the event at Penn College. Rose Street/College West jumped to an early 7-0 lead on a touchdown run by Steph Karoullas and Caroline Matter picked off a pass from The Village/Campus View team to go up 14-0.

Tuesday's "Party With the Wildcats" event was a winner, with more than 200 people meeting the players and coaches of the spring sports. "There was a lot of fun, with each sport having a game to play, and people had a chance to go in the money booth and grab up to $50," said Lisa J. Worth, athletic assistant, noting other prizes were awarded throughout the evening.
