Leah D. Tamburlin, a senior nursing major from St. Marys, has been chosen as the Student of the Month at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Tamburlin, who is scheduled to graduate in May, is a member of the Student Nurses' Association and is employed as a part-time clerk in the Residence Life Office.

Pennsylvania Child Care Association The Pennsylvania Child Care Association has recognized the excellence of two women associated with Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Early Childhood Director Competency Credential. Linda S. Fallon, of Lewistown, a 2012 graduate of the certification program, is nominated for PACCA’s 2013 Educator of the Year Award.

Students from Penn College's School of Business & Hospitality were among the judges for Saturday's Grill-Off at the Young Men's Republican Club, which remains strong and active in the community 140 years after its founding. The annual event is just one of several hosted by the club to raise money for charitable organizations, outreach programs and college scholarships.
