Six students will begin their education at Pennsylvania College of Technology this fall as recipients of President’s Scholarships. High school seniors are invited to apply for the $3,000 annual scholarship if they are enrolling full time at Penn College and have a high school GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Renowned golf entertainer, trick-shot artist and World Long Drive champion Dan Boever will headline the Penn College Foundation’s 31st Annual Golf Classic on June 19 at the Williamsport Country Club.

A Grand Pastry Buffet was the centerpiece for the college’s annual scholarship reception, which offers an opportunity for recipients of the more than 200 Penn College scholarships to mingle with and thank those who have funded the scholarships. The event, held Sunday, is the final project for students in the Pastry Food Show and Buffet Presentation Concepts course.

Current and former Pennsylvania College of Technology students who were members of the student organization Minorities Lending Knowledge have established The Start to Finish Minority Student Scholarship at the college. World-class chefs spent several days on the Penn College campus to impart their wisdom while they guided students in the production of the 25th Anniversary Visiting Chef Dinner, held April 7.
