Pennsylvania College of Technology’s radiography program was granted another eight years of accreditation – the maximum duration that may be awarded – by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology. Students pursuing degrees in radiography at Pennsylvania College of Technology gain hands-on skills in the college’s recently updated digital radiography lab.

Building construction has been added to the abounding schedule of pre-college initiatives offered at Pennsylvania College of Technology, hands-on summer activities that mirror the nationally renowned opportunities afforded postsecondary students.

Pennsylvania College of Technology’s radiography program celebrates the work of radiologic technologists during National Radiologic Technology Week, Nov. 4-10. Providing patients with safe medical imaging examinations and radiation therapy treatments is the prime goal for the nation’s radiologic technologists.

Radiography students sport pink to help support breast cancer awareness and the importance of early detection. On Oct. 10, in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, students in Karen L. Plankenhorn’s Pediatric and Trauma Radiography course sported the cause’s emblematic color.

The School of Nursing & Health Sciences at Pennsylvania College of Technology held a multifaceted celebration on Oct. 4 by hosting an open house of its facilities and welcoming accomplished alumni, who reflected on how their education has shaped their careers.
