Students in a human services class at Pennsylvania College of Technology will host a fair-trade sale Nov. 14-16 in the Bush Campus Center. The annual sale helps working poor in other countries. Facilitated by students enrolled in the course Community and Organizational Change, the Ten Thousand Villages Festival Sale will feature handcrafted goods.

Erin M. LaCerra, who graduated in May with a degree in human services, will be among exhibitors during downtown Williamsport's First Friday celebration of the arts on April 6. Degree programs in human services at Pennsylvania College of Technology have earned reaccreditation from the Council for Standards in Human Service Education through May 2016. The college's bachelor-degree major in applied human services and its associate-degree major in human services were reaccredited by the council for the next five years.
