The connections between Little League Baseball® and Pennsylvania College of Technology are decades' old, from construction students' work on the original complex in the 1950s to this month's catered meals for players in the 75th annual LLB World Series.

Six students in baking, pastry and culinary arts at Pennsylvania College of Technology recently completed summer internships that provided a wealth of real-world learning with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts. Among them is Nataly Acosta, a culinary arts technology student from Shillington.

Nine students in Pennsylvania College of Technology’s paramedic program will be part of the health care team at the 2022 Little League Baseball® World Series, scheduled for Aug. 17-28.

Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Le Jeune Chef Restaurant – including the staff, students and faculty who support it – will again prepare meals for the teams participating in the Little League Baseball® World Series, a few miles from campus.

Among the newer additions to the Pennsylvania College of Technology community as the Fall 2022 semester begins are 19 faculty members, as provided by the Office of People & Culture. Fifteen will begin their instructional duties on Aug. 11; the remainder were added to the roster as noted. "This cohort of new faculty possesses a wide range of experiences and skills," said Joanna K.

Pennsylvania College of Technology held its Summer 2022 Commencement at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Community Arts Center in downtown Williamsport, a milestone ceremony that marked Michael J. Reed's first as college president.
