Students from Penn College's School of Hospitality celebrated the Williamsport Growers Market "Customer Appreciation Day" in typical hands-on fashion Saturday, carving pumpkins in a pre-Halloween competition and plating a variety of treats for hungry patrons at the downtown venue.

Gary Eberle, founder of Eberle Winery and known as the "Godfather" of Paso Robles, Calif., winemaking, spoke with students in the School of Hospitality on Wednesday afternoon about winemaking and the food and wine industry.

Regional American Cuisine menus, prepared by students in the School of Hospitality at Pennsylvania College of Technology, have returned for the fall semester at Le Jeune Chef Restaurant. Served Wednesday and Friday evenings this semester, the dinners feature signature dishes from across the continent, prepared by students in a course taught by Chef Michael J.

Some of the Children's Learning Center gang, enjoying the beautiful fall weather in the Hager Lifelong Education Center courtyard on Friday, came upon a wonderful surprise. Chef Frank M. For the 12th consecutive year, Wine Spectator magazine has granted its "Best of Award of Excellence" to Pennsylvania College of Technology's Le Jeune Chef Restaurant. The restaurant is one of 833 restaurants worldwide to earn the magazine's second-tier "Best of" award.

In a learning opportunity for Pennsylvania College of Technology students and a benefit for scholarship funds, the college will host a "California Food and Wine Pairing" event, featuring a gourmet "California fusion" menu created by students in the School of Hospitality, paired with selections from the Eberle Winery in Paso Robles, Calif.
