A new YouTube video explores how Penn College graduates are answering the demand for tomorrow-minded polymer engineers through their work at B. Braun Medical. Challenged to develop innovative medical solutions, alumni – Daniel M. Dietrich, '09, processing engineering manager; and Joshua A. Berger, '20, injection molding process engineer – are committed to designing sustainable solutions to meet today's health care demands.

When Blaine L. Walizer crossed the stage at Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Dec. 16 commencement ceremony, it marked the second degree he earned in a matter of weeks. From Penn College, the Beech Creek resident completed an associate degree in business management. In early November, he accepted the American FFA Degree at the Future Farmers of America National Convention.

A Penn College student and her husband welcomed a daughter at 4:39 a.m. Jan. 1, the first birth of the new year at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. A number of media outlets reported Aurora Jo's arrival through interviews with Felicia E. and Bradlee S. Rindo, of Loyalsock Township. Felicia, a work-study student at The College Store, is pursuing a bachelor's degree in applied management. She earned an associate degree in human services & restorative justice in 2022.

Pennsylvania College of Technology held its last commencement ceremony of 2023 on Dec. 16, an occasion marked by comfort and joy – both inside the Community Arts Center and out.

Pennsylvania College of Technology presented James Riedel with a Distinguished Alumni Award at its Fall 2023 Commencement ceremonies, held Dec. 16 at the Community Arts Center. Riedel earned a Bachelor of Science in automotive technology management in 2007 and an Associate of Applied Science in automotive technology in 2006. He is the national product training manager for Subaru of America Inc., where he has worked for nearly 16 years.

Pennsylvania College of Technology has presented student achievement awards to its Fall 2023 graduates. A commencement ceremony was held Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Community Arts Center, Williamsport. Penn College is a special mission affiliate of Penn State.

Three students who graduated in Saturday's Fall Commencement exercises were recognized at an Excellence in Student Leadership and Service Awards Ceremony in the Community Arts Center's Capitol Lounge prior to their 11 a.m. procession. President Michael J. Reed paid tribute to the "small, but mighty group of absolutely extraordinary" honorees in his welcoming remarks, noting their selection for collegewide recognition from among 4,300 Penn College students.

With farming in their blood and their alma mater in their corner, an alumni couple – who met on campus in the Spring 2016 semester – is working hard to turn a Christmas tree operation into a year-round celebration of Pennsylvania agriculture. Penn College graduates Grace E. Scott-Wasson and Bryan M. Wasson started Wasscott Fields and Farm in Centre Hall several years ago, parlaying their background into a fledgling family business.
