Beginning this week, the capstone beer of a May brewing & fermentation science grad is on tap at Jackass Brewing Co.’s two locations (Williamsport and Lewisburg). Adrien Duran, of Lewisburg, became the company’s first and only intern this spring as part of his brewing & fermentation science studies at the college.

Reveling in that summertime swing, Penn College alumni stepped up to the plate, cheering on the Williamsport Crosscutters at Journey Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field. Alumni Night featured prizes, socializing and fireworks.

Pennsylvania College of Technology has released its list of Spring 2025 graduates.

Graphic design students from Pennsylvania College of Technology are concluding a highly successful 2024-25 season of national design awards. Capturing 32 awards in five competitions, the results spotlight the caliber of the college’s Bachelor of Science degree in graphic design.

Although women make up just 29% of the manufacturing workforce, Pennsylvania College of Technology alumna Shelby N. Miller is proud to be included in that calculation from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. It’s a number that she hopes increases in the future. Miller, of Schuylkill Haven, is a manufacturing engineer associate with Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control business area.

Penn College Athletics’ Male and Female Athletes of the Year kick off the new “WildCast” – a podcast giving listeners an all-access pass to the stories, struggles and successes of Wildcat student-athletes, their coaches and administrators. In the first episode, Livingston Cross (men’s basketball) and Megan Kurian (women’s soccer) sit down for a 30-minute conversation with Matt Blymier, assistant director of athletics for compliance and athletic communications.

A home on Fifth Avenue hosted its first backyard picnic to close out the first of two years of service learning at the site. The Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity home is being built largely by Penn College students on land donated by the college. The three-bedroom structure, started in Fall 2024 and expected to be completed in Spring 2026, will provide a safe, sustainable home for a deserving family.

On the threshold of their graduation from Pennsylvania College of Technology, 18 architecture & sustainable design seniors showcased their four years of intensive study in “Architecture & Sustainable Design: Senior Capstone Projects.” Well-wishers and interested onlookers packed The Gallery at Penn College on May 16 for the exhibit’s reception and heard from the designers and their faculty mentors.

Downtown Williamsport and the Pennsylvania College of Technology campus were teeming with joyful graduates and guests, as the college held its three Spring 2025 commencement ceremonies May 16-17 at the Community Arts Center. Nearly 750 students marched in the ceremonies, with approximately 885 having petitioned to graduate. Pennsylvania College of Technology has presented student achievement awards to its Spring 2025 graduates. Commencement ceremonies were held May 16-17 at the Community Arts Center, Williamsport.
