Students and faculty from Pennsylvania College of Technology collected plenty of hardware at the recent Toyota Green Grand Prix in Watkins Glen, New York. The college contingent – consisting mainly of students from the Penn College Motorsports Association – garnered several awards at the 21st annual event, held at the Watkins Glen International race course.

Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the only international honor society for computing and information disciplines, welcomed nine new members to the Pennsylvania College of Technology chapter during a recent induction ceremony. The new members are the sixth class to be inducted at Penn College.

Accepted Student Day stirred excitement for incoming Wildcats and their parents. Held Sunday, the day was all about celebrating Fall 2025 accepted and committed students, helping them envision their lives at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

“Have you ever eaten on camera? It's a little uncomfortable," quips Brian Walton, assistant dean of business and hospitality. "I’ve got to imagine this isn’t flattering, but it is delicious.” Walton, a Penn College alumnus and campus favorite, steps up to the plate for "Wild Ones Episode 3."

Michael Giordano, a Penn College construction management student and former ROTC Bald Eagle Battalion commander, takes listeners on a “tour” of his experiences and benefits in “Army ROTC,” the latest episode in the Tomorrow Makers podcast series. The annual honoring of awesome women took place recently, with the spotlight shining on 25 Penn College students. Hosted by the Office of Student Engagement in the Thompson Professional Development Center, the 2025 Awesome Woman Exemplar Ceremony featured appetizers, mingling and awards.

The Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s lacrosse team had a record-setting win this past week, while in other action, the women’s softball team went 2-2 in the United East.

Pennsylvania College of Technology has recognized the support of longtime partner West Pharmaceutical Services Inc., a global leader in innovative solutions for injectable drug administration, with the naming of a lab in the school’s Electrical Technologies Center.

About 30 Pennsylvania College of Technology students will be part of the culinary brigade serving guests at Churchill Downs during the 151st running of the famed Kentucky Derby on May 3. The students were interviewed and hired by staff of Levy Restaurants, which provides dining operations at Churchill Downs, for internships at the facility during Derby Week, the event-filled lead-up to the Kentucky Derby.
