Approximately 600 seventh- to ninth-graders from 12 school districts visited Pennsylvania College of Technology's campuses on March 12 to learn about careers through hands-on activities and tours. Among the activities available for groups on the main campus were creating video games, operating robots, practicing emergency medical skills, using television studio equipment and taking X-rays.

Pennsylvania College of Technology home to one of the nation's oldest continuous automotive programs is among the partners in a grant-funded initiative to offer bachelor's degrees to Montgomery County Community College students. The community college was awarded a $1,371,264 grant from the U.S.

Penn College's printer/fax-cartridge recycling program marks two notable achievements this month: the one-year anniversary of the program and surpassing $3,000 raised for the general scholarship fund. The Penn College Foundation recently received the check for $382 from the Cartridge World store at 1818 E. Third St.
