Reminder: 'Sticker Shock' lecture, gallery reception Tuesday

The campus community and public are reminded of the Feb. 4 events held in conjunction with The Gallery at Penn College's exhibition, “Re-Writing the Streets 2.0: The International Language of Stickers.”
Beginning at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Penn’s Inn on the second floor of the Bush Campus Center, “Sticker Shock” will be delivered by Nicholas L. Stephenson, instructor of graphic design at Penn College. The lecture will examine the sticker as a pop-culture medium. A reception will follow, from 5 to 6 p.m., in the gallery on the third floor of The Madigan Library. Both events are free and open to the public.
“Re-Writing the Streets 2.0: The International Language of Stickers” showcases over 900 stickers from around the globe and is on display through March 5. Gallery hours are: 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; Noon to 4 p.m. Fridays; and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. (The gallery is closed on Mondays and Saturdays.)

“Re-Writing the Streets 2.0: The International Language of Stickers” is on display through March 5 in The Gallery at Penn College.
