Pennsylvania College of Technology conducted three commencement ceremonies at the Community Arts Center in downtown Williamsport on May 10-11 for about 725 students who completed academic requirements during the Spring 2024 semester.
Here is a quick sprint through the ceremonies. (Sprints were many as graduates and guests dodged raindrops both days but enjoyed interludes of sunshine and overflowing pride and joy.) Stay tuned for more photos on Penn College News in the coming days.

The Saturday morning crew is ready to process! The Genetti Hotel, around the corner from the Community Arts Center, serves as graduates' starting point on commencement days.
As graduates make their way into the CAC, they are greeted at the door by a presidential fist-bump, courtesy of Michael J. Reed.
Hitting a high note as she delivers a gorgeous rendition of the National Anthem: Tamaka F. Carter, financial aid support specialist and business administration student, who shared her musical gifts for each of the three weekend ceremonies
Another high note is delivered by student speaker, Michael Charles Carpenter, who spoke at the Saturday afternoon ceremony. At right, Joanna K. Flynn, vice president for academic affairs and provost, enjoys the delivery.

Back on campus, welding technology grad Corbin James Coulson and friend find a sliver of sunshine at the popular photo spot – the motorcyle crafted by welding students.
Ryan J. Nicita, electrical construction, connects with the president.
Family support is the ticket of the day for Ryan Eduardo Melendez, welding technology.

Back on campus, all that rain greens up the lawns and PCT sign nicely for a memory with Mom – just in time for Mother's Day.
Even during Friday's nearly-nonstop rains, grads and their families flock to the entrance sign to capture memories, like Alexis A. Rogers, human services & restorative justice.
