Pennsylvania College of Technology's bachelor-degree Nursing and certificate Practical Nursing majors have received full accreditation from the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. By earning the designation, those two majors join the College's associate-degree Nursing major, which has been fully accredited by the NLNAC since 1993.

Six-week hatha yoga sessions for beginners, as well as those interested in developing a regular practice, will begin the week of Aug. 25 at Pennsylvania College of Technology. "Introduction to Yoga I A Beginning Practice" will be offered Tuesdays from 5 to 6:30 p.m., beginning Aug. 26.

More than 160 Pennsylvania College of Technology students have petitioned to graduate in Summer Commencement ceremonies to be held Saturday, Aug. 9, at the Community Arts Center in Williamsport. Wendy A. Cunningham, Montoursville, will be the student speaker for the ceremonies, which will begin at 11 a.m.

Construction contracts worth more than $9 million have been awarded to five Pennsylvania firms that will perform extensive renovations at the most historic building on the Pennsylvania College of Technology campus the Klump Academic Center. Two of the five awards, for more than $2.5 million, were to Williamsport-based companies.
