Greg Gable, executive chef at The Restaurant at Doneckers, Ephrata, will prepare the Fall 2003 Distinguished Visiting Chef Series Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Gable also worked for 14 years at the renowned Le Bec-Fin in Philadelphia before joining The Restaurant at Doneckers, where his wife, Heidi, serves as sommelier.
The impact of the information-technology revolution taking place in India will be the topic of a program to be offered Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the Pennsylvania College of Technology Library. "Boxes," an exhibit of works by Kathleen Kase Burk of Ebensburg, will be displayed Oct. 7-31 at The Gallery at Penn College on the campus of Pennsylvania College of Technology. The opening for the show will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7. Burk will offer an artist's talk at 5:15 p.m. Subsequent viewing hours will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, or by appointment.
