The Air Conditioning Contractors of America, a trade association representing the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration industry, has established its first-ever student chapter at Pennsylvania College of Technology. ACCA officials visited Penn College recently and participated in a ceremony at the Thompson Professional Development Center for the student inductees.
Fifty-two students at Pennsylvania College of Technology have been inducted into Phi Theta Kappa an international honor society that recognizes and encourages scholarship among associate-degree students for the 2002-03 academic year.

A team of students from Pennsylvania College of Technology's School of Construction and Design Technologies placed second recently in a national construction competition in Las Vegas. Members of the Penn College Construction Association competed in the National Association of Home Builders' annual residential-construction competition, finishing behind only BYU-Idaho.

Pennsylvania College of Technology presented student achievement awards to graduates receiving degrees and certificates at Winter Commencement ceremonies Saturday, Dec. 21. Pennsylvania College of Technology has received approval for a campus chapter of Sigma Beta Delta, the International Honor Society for Business, Management, and Administration. The Penn College Sigma Beta Delta chapter was officially accepted Dec. 3. Invitations will be extended to qualified students in February, and the first members will be inducted in April.
