A graduation ceremony was held recently for Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Leadership Boot Camp, a six-week series meant to provide students with fun and educational opportunities to develop and enhance their leadership skills.

Penn College's newly formed Game Development Club recently hosted a visit by Anna Maree Manciet, of Alienware Live, whose Penn College degrees include a 2013 bachelor's in web design and multimedia.

Can’t sell your textbook?  Donate it! Penn College's Accounting Society is running a book drive on behalf of Better World Books, an organization that aims to improve global literacy. Watch for the green collection bins at such campus locations as the Breuder Advanced Technology and Health Sciences Center, Klump Academic Center, and the Keystone Dining Room.

A ceramics exhibit by four students and one faculty member at Pennsylvania College of Technology – “4+1=Five Hands in Clay” – will be offered Dec. 1-8 in the lobby of The Gallery at Penn College. The exhibit will also feature an auction of 10 clay mugs on display from Nov. 29 through Dec. 8. An opening reception is set for Thursday, Dec. 1, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Building construction technology major Michael J. Deragon, of Fort Washington, helps Joey Boler Santoyo with a keepsake toolbox. The boy is the grandson of Stanley G. Boler, who retired in 2012 from the electronics and computer engineering technology faculty; his mother, Amanda, is a 1998 graduate in legal assistant-paralegal.

Those traveling to the Schneebeli Earth Science Center to purchase poinsettias this season are encouraged to also check out the nature-inspired gifts made by the Horticulture Club.

A General Services crew braved a blustery morning to install 38 holiday cards designed by student groups and campus departments, sharing a "Happy Holidays" message with classmates and co-workers alike. Members of Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Greek Life have teamed up with a math professor to solicit donations of used baseball equipment to be sent to young baseball players in Cuba. The college community is asked to look for baseball bats, gloves and balls while at home for the Thanksgiving break and bring the equipment back to campus.
