The Madigan Library at Pennsylvania College of Technology has been recognized as an "Outstanding Design" in American School & University magazine's 2011 Architectural Portfolio a premier showcase celebrating the best in educational design. The 1,000-seat facility opened in August 2006 and has become a campus destination for students and the community.
The organization representing full-time faculty, librarians and counselors at Pennsylvania College of Technology is further supporting students at the college by establishing an endowed scholarship fund. The Penn College Education Association Scholarship Fund will generate at least two awards each year, one each for a male student and a female student.
Penn College again earned Top 10 status among the best public, four-year colleges in the northern region of the United States in the America's Best Colleges rankings published by the U.S. News Media Group.

The 17,829-square-foot, single-story Construction Masonry Building, designed by Murray Associates Architects, P.C., of Harrisburg, features a large, open lab area and reflects the latest in "green" technologies.

Good morning and welcome to the Fall 2011 semester. While I likely say it every year, this summer has flown by faster than many I recall. That could be my recollection or, in fact, reality.
Pennsylvania College of Technology has presented a Mentorship Award to Emilie E. Faillo, of Narberth, a 2001 culinary graduate who, in the course of her professional life, has coordinated a variety of real-world work experiences and mentoring opportunities for Penn College students.
Pennsylvania College of Technology has presented a College Service Award to faculty member, department head and Penn College Education Association President Jim E. Temple. The award, bestowed in recognition of meritorious service provided to the college, was given to Temple by Penn College President Davie Jane Gilmour during Summer 2011 Commencement ceremonies held Saturday, Aug.
Pennsylvania College of Technology's Board of Directors on Thursday approved parameters for the college's state budget request for 2012-13.The numbers will be submitted to the state along with The Pennsylvania State University's request. "It's always too early, but we have to do it,'' said Board Chairman Robert E. Dunham.
