Graduation ceremonies were held May 30 at the Warehouse Theater in Wellsboro for Pennsylvania College of Technology’s North Campus Medical Assistant program. Ten individuals completed the nine-month training program and are prepared for employment in medical offices, labs, clinics and other health-care facilities.
Pennsylvania College of Technology is offering two medical assistant programs beginning in mid-September – at the Main Campus in Williamsport and at the North Campus in Wellsboro. Beginning with the new year, Pennsylvania College of Technology’s North Campus will offer its array of noncredit education programs and industry training from a new location. The 35-acre North Campus facility on Route 6 is being sold to Shell, and the college will begin renting instructional space from the Wellsboro Area School District.
