Making a powerful visual statement, 22 Penn College veterans represent the number of servicemen and women lost to suicide each day. Gwendolyn A. Ntim, a health arts: practical nursing emphasis major from Yonkers, New York, delivers a rendition of the national anthem, surrounded by members of the Omega Delta Sigma veterans fraternity.

Coordinated by the Association of Research Libraries, Fair Use Week (Feb. 22 -26) is supported by many participating organizations, from the American Library Association to Yale University.

Each day, 22 American veterans commit suicide. Penn College and its student, staff and faculty veterans are proud to join Mission 22, a vital campaign that calls attention to that tragic statistic and provides hope to those suffering on the homefront. Penn College is honored to be a Military Friendly School and stands behind all veterans and their service to this country.

Each year, Penn College recognizes outstanding employees through its Distinguished Staff Awards program. The Distinguished Staff Awards Committee, which oversees the nomination and recommendation of award-winners, encourages employees to take the time to complete a nomination form to promote the recognition of a colleague.

The intersection of technology, interpersonal communication and human relationships takes center stage in a colloquium set for Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m. in the Klump Academic Center Auditorium at Pennsylvania College of Technology.
