A physics professor’s quest to create inspiring and practical lab exercises for his students has resulted in the publication of a physics laboratory manual published by Kendall Hunt Publishing Co. “Physics Laboratory Manual: Physics with Technological Applications” is written by Joseph E. LeBlanc, professor of physics at Pennsylvania College of Technology.
More than 900 students have petitioned to graduate following the Spring 2017 semester at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Three commencement ceremonies will be offered on May 12-13 at the Community Arts Center, 220 W. Fourth St., Williamsport, with more than 780 students expected to march. At 3 p.m.

Pennsylvania College of Technology and the members of the Penn College Education Association – which includes full-time teaching faculty, librarians and counselors employed by the college – have agreed on a new contract that will run from 2018 through the 2022-23 academic year.
Pennsylvania College of Technology has named Patrick Marty to a senior administrator position overseeing several areas of the institution. The appointment of Marty – who has held a variety of leadership roles in communications, news and sports media, government relations, the military and private industry – was authorized Thursday by the college’s Board of Directors.
Loni N. Kline has been appointed vice president for institutional advancement at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Kline has served in a variety of leadership roles in advancement and development at colleges and universities. Most recently, she was associate vice president for development and donor relations at Lycoming College, a post she had held since 2014.
Pennsylvania College of Technology has chosen an administrator with nearly three decades’ experience in information technology in higher education to serve as vice president for information technology/chief information officer. A.J. Lacomba will begin his duties on May 1. His appointment was authorized Thursday by the Penn College Board of Directors.
