Joseph S. Yoder has been named public information director at Pennsylvania College of Technology, effective July 1. Yoder oversees media relations and all news and public information sharing at Penn College, including print and online publishing of the college magazine/annual report and the daily publishing of news on the PCToday website.

Pennsylvania College of Technology employees Katherine A. Walker and Jeannette F. Carter were among presenters at Williamsport Area School District's first Millionaire Career Camp. According to Carol Watson, a middle school family and consumer sciences teacher in the district who helped to host the camp, the event was designed to introduce girls to careers in science and math fields.

Faculty members in Pennsylvania College of Technology's School of Natural Resources Management served as judges for several competitions during the 2011 State FFA Activities Week, held June 14-16 at The Pennsylvania State University. FFA Activities Week gathers more than 1,400 high school students from throughout the state for three days of competitions and agriculture-related activities.
