The director of the dental hygiene program at Pennsylvania College of Technology recently began his tenure on the Northcentral Pennsylvania Area Health Education Center Board of Directors. Shawn A. Kiser was appointed to a three-year term on the board, during which he will also serve on the center's personnel committee.

Two administrators in Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Pennsylvania College of Technology have been appointed to assistant vice president positions. Larry L. Michael was named assistant vice president for workforce development and special projects. Tracy L. Brundage was appointed assistant vice president for workforce and economic development.

A Multicultural Student Mixer was held Wednesday in the Thompson Professional Development Center, an opportunity for Penn College employees and students to mingle with individuals from different backgrounds and diverse experiences.
