The Northwest Energy Efficiency Council, national sponsor of the Building Operator Certification program that trains and certifies workers in best practices for energy efficiency, has been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency with a 2016 Energy Star Award.

Barbara Helen Williams A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday for Barbara Helen Williams, a professor emeritus at Penn College, who died Monday.

"The Piscophilist," by David M. Moyer David M. Moyer, an assistant professor of graphic design at Penn College, will be among exhibitors during downtown Williamsport’s First Friday celebration of the arts next month.
