Faculty and students from Pennsylvania College of Technology – comprising all heavy construction equipment powertrain and engines classes, as well as three enrollees from a hydraulics course – attended an informative Sept. 28 open house at Groff Tractor & Equipment LLC  in Mechanicsburg.

A $25,000 donation from the Chicago SPE Educational Foundation and the Chicago Section of SPE will endow the Patsy and Glenn L. Beall Chicago SPE Scholarship for plastics students at Pennsylvania College of Technology. The Chicago SPE Educational Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to enhancing and improving the quality of plastics education in schools.

"Penn College: Shaping the Next Generation of Welders," a recent article prepared by Miller Electric Manufacturing LLC – one of the institution's generous corporate partners – details students' numerous opportunities to apply their learning beyond the lab.
