The Fall 2005 slate of Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair training has begun in earnest at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Training kicked off about a week and a half ago with I-CAR's newest training program (GEN01, "Collision Repair Overview") for the 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06.Monday evening's class (ALT01, "Electric and Hybrid Vehicles") was hosted by Alfred M.

Joshua M. Yost, chosen as the Student Government Association's "Student of the Month" in March, has been selected by collision repair faculty for a similar honor this month. Yost, from Cochranton − the unanimous choice of all six collision repair faculty members − was chosen for his campus leadership, dependability, initiative, integrity, enthusiasm and his support of fellow students.

Two sections of first-year collision repair students recently participated in a "Shop Fire Safety" demonstration and training session at the Williamsport Bureau of Fire training area on West Third Street.
